The first improvement that i would make would to to add a page which breaks the films into sections describing what type of films they are and who the audience would be aimed at . This will be a good improvement as customers will immediately be able to know whether it is their type of film and also whether they would enjoy it.

The second improvement that I would make to my website is to add pictures of each of my films on the page therefore the customers would not have to watch the trailer to re jog their memory and may instantly know if the film is worth watching or that it is a film they have seen before. This would save the customer a lot of time but also the use of images makes it more attractive.

The third improvement i would make would be to create another page which contains a database, this database will hold all information showing other people’s views comments and star rating on specific films therefore students can know whether it is a film worth watching and also if it is worth their money. This makes the reviews page worthwhile and also has a good impact on the website.

The fourth improvement i would make would be to make my logo more presentable. I believe if my logo was larger and more noticeable it may attract the customers into spreading the name of the website as it is something that will catch their eye. However when stretching my logo the image then blurs and pixelates this is something I believe would be a good improvement.

As I was creating my own website I had to assure that the navigation on my website was easy to use for the customers. I have done this by creating a table of links at the side of the page which had clear headings stating the pages my website contains. The buttons were hyperlinked to the correct page that they want to visit. On my website there is a comments box on the reviews page. I have used this on my website so i can improve it and I can take customers opinion. To do this you have to type in the film name and then writing your review in the comment box below. This will automatically submit your review.

When creating my website I had to use the coding to put the YouTube trailers in this is then linked to an individual page which is hyperlinked to the title of the films.  This is done with html coding. I had to click on the design view then open the correct bar and copy and paste the html. This is used with anything on the web. Audio and visual elements I have 11 trailers on my website that have sound and video that work. I had to embed the code and place it in the right place to ensure that the customer could view any of their choice.  People are able to watch theses trailers through the website by just clicking on the name of the film.

Hierarchy is what separates the page in the order. This order is what is most important and it is done through the size, colour, shape or font. In my website I have placed my logo in the same position on all of my website pages and this is my own product that I made In a mix of photo shop and illustrator this contains the school name of the film club and other images.

TCP/IP protocols map to a four layer conceptual model. The four layers of the model are: Application, Transport, Internet and Network Interface. Each layer in the model corresponds to one or more layers of the seven layer Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model; (application layer, presentation layer, session layer, transport layer, network layer, data-link layer and physical layer).

Internet Layer- The Internet layers are responsible for addressing, packaging and routing functions. The core protocols of the Internet layer are IP, ARP, ICMP and IGMP.

HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol)

This protocol is used by the Web. It expresses how messages are formatted and transmitted. It allows the Web server and browsers to response to various commands. For example, when you enter a URL into browser, it actually sends an HTTP command to the Web server directing you to Web page

The Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) - This is the resolution of the internet layer address to the network interface layer address such as a hardware address.

Transport Layer - The Transport layer is responsible for providing the Application layer with session and datagram communication services. The core protocols of the Transport layer are Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and the User Datagram Protocol (UDP).

The Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) - This provides problem solves and reporting errors due to the unsuccessful delivery of IP packets.
The Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) - This is for the management of IP multicast groups.

UDP provides many connectionless and unreliable communications service. UDP is used when only small amounts of data are transferred. When the overhead of establishing a TCP connection is not wanted or when the upper layer protocols provide good delivery.

Application Layer- This gives applications the ability to access other layers and defines the protocols that applications use to exchange data. There are many application layer protocols and new protocols are always being created. The most popular application layer protocols are those used for exchanging user information. These are HTTP, FTP and SMPT.

SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)
This is a protocol for sending e-mails between servers. E-mail systems that send mail over the Internet use SMTP, to send messages from one server to another the messages can then be retrieved with an e-mail client using either POP or IMAP. In addition, SMTP is used to send messages from a mail client to a mail server. This is why you need to specify both the POP or IMAP server and the SMTP server when you configure your e-mail application.

The File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
This is used to the interactive file transfer.
The Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMPT)
This is used for the transfer of mail messages and attachments
